RKV ForceOne Training -- OPEN SKILLS Clinics !

Rob Kaleikau Volleyball (RKV) will be holding Open Skills time for volleyball players wanting to focus on improving 4 primary skills – serving, passing, setting/overhead passing, and hitting (middle and outside).  The 1 hr. session is intended to provide a “tune-up” of skills to ensure players are maintaining proper technique and performance of each skill area consistently throughout the volleyball season. This will help to avoid bad habits, poor skill performance, and catch any inconsistencies in a player’s game before they can become problematic if not caught early on.

The session format will involve 15-minute drills for each skill area. Group drills will be quick and intense and focus on each player’s skill development.

The serving drills will focus on both the standing serve as well as jump serving.  The passing drills will focus on general passing skills and techniques useful for all players. The setting drills will focus on both the setter position as well as non-setting position (for players that need focus on just overhead passing).  The hitting drills will focus on middle hitter, left-side and right-side hitters.

The Open Skills is geared for all players from all clubs, ages 12 – 18.  Drills will be grouped by age and skill level. Enrollment is limitedDates and times to be determined throughout the year.
